About Our Valentine’s Love Boat Steak & Seafood Cruise

Celebrate your love aboard Lake Hickory Adventures’ Love Boat! This enchanting evening includes a decadent steak and seafood dinner and live entertainment. Entertainment during the cruise will always includes sightseeing, relaxation, socializing, and a great performance by a live local musician. The cruise is a non-smoking event.

Your dining experience will begin with a savory spinach and cheese empanada.  Then cleanse your pallet with a refreshing mixed greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing.  Next, tantalize your appetite with a shot of creamy french seafood bisque.  At last, the crescendo… grilled petite beef filet medallions and Shrimp St. Jacques (shrimp in a white wine and cream sauce) with an asparagus and baby red potato accompaniment.  Finally, crown your dining experience with a decadent slice of almond and cherry drizzled cheesecake.  Dinner will include tea, water and coffee.  Guests 21 and older may also bring their favorite adult beverages if desired and are welcome to borrow ship wine glasses.

You and your partner can choose your own seating and move freely around the yacht to enjoy comfortable temperature controlled seating on the main deck, firelight seating on the rooftop party-deck or open-sky seating on the sunset deck. The yacht is equipped with two bathrooms for passenger convenience.

Dress Code

Dress is dinner casual and should be adjusted based on seasonality. Low, stable shoes are recommended due to stairs and movement of the yacht. Summer cruises are warm outside. Winter cruises are cold outside but heated indoors. Spring and fall cruises tend to be warm while the sun is up and cool at night. Dress accordingly so that you will be comfortable and can enjoy both the indoors and outdoors.

Boarding

You board at the Lake Hickory Marina (6706 Limbaugh Lane, Hickory NC – at the Hwy 321 Bridge) and should arrive between five and 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Please note that the construction and nature of boarding the yacht requires passengers be able to negotiate narrow stairways (24″ wide), low doorways, step ups, step downs, and the normal rocking motion of the boat due to wakes and shifts in weight. We are pleased to provide personal assistance to anyone willing to board, but all passengers do so at their own risk.
